Jason Eger, CPA

Jason Eger is a certified public accountant (CPA) and is QuickBooks ProAdvisor trained. With 13+ years of experience in the industry, he specializes in helping Entrepreneurs achieve their personal and business goals. He loves being the “Off-site CFO” for his clients around Northern Colorado, as a business consultant and trusted advisor. Jason and Dawn have two energetic kids and a dog named Kota (name after Kota Kinabalu in Borneo). In Jason’s spare time he enjoys coaching his daughter’s soccer team, skiing, traveling, mountain biking and camping. If he’s not in the office, you can often find him on the trails West of Fort Collins or working on his endless list of home projects.

Dawn Eger

Dawn’s management experience spans from tax firms to theaters, and several places in between. As an elementary school teacher, she learned to work with people of all ages. Now as Payroll Manager and Business Development of Eger CPA, she excels at keeping the team organized and accountable. Dawn is proud to be a mother and a business owner. Outside of the office, Dawn is kept busy shuttling her 2 kids to their many activities, as well as managing the household. For fun she loves skiing, yoga, reading, hiking, travel, exploring the region around Fort Collins, and hitting up classes at the gym.

Nathan Bush, CPA

Joe started with Eger CPA in September of 2020, but was previously employed by a couple other local CPA firms before this, and has been working in accounting since 2016. In 2019, Joe completed his Master’s of Accountancy degree online through CSU Global while working full-time, and then began studying for the Uniform CPA Exam shortly after. He officially became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Colorado in March of 2021, and is looking forward to serving Eger CPA’s clients in this capacity for many years to come! Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, going fishing, being a nerd, fixing up the house, building stuff, grilling steaks, drinking beers, and getting a good night’s sleep!

Kelsey Kruk, EA

Kelsey joined Eger CPA in December of 2020 shortly after moving to Colorado to join the team. She was previously located in Chicago working as a tax associate for a family office. Prior to her years in Chicago, Kelsey was living in Boston working for a multinational accounting firm. She graduated from Boston College in 2016 with degrees in Mathematics and Philosophy. Kelsey was recently married and has set up roots in Windsor, CO but refuses to give up her allegiance to all New England sports teams (much to the disappointment of her spouse and coworkers alike)!

Maya Gray

Maya is a full-time CSU student, studying accounting and finance. She spent almost 5 years working in credit unions prior to starting with Eger CPA in January 2023. She participates in numerous extracurricular activities at CSU such as the College of Business Mentoring Program, Community for Excellence and Beta Alpha Psi. In the little free time she has, Maya enjoys mountain biking, hiking and paddleboarding when Colorado’s weather allows.

Lisa Avilucea, CPA

Lisa started at Eger CPA in September of 2021 with almost 20 years at her previous firm in New Mexico.  She graduated from New Mexico State with a degree in Accounting and recently moved to Colorado to be closer to family.  She lives in Windsor with her husband, Eric and her two high school aged children, James and Alyssa. Her weekends consist of spending time with family and her two dogs and one cat.

Erin Cory, EA

Sarah Kasten, EA

Sarah started with Eger CPA in August 2023 and has been working with small business on their accounting and tax needs since 2014. She graduated from CSU with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and is also an Enrolled Agent. She is looking forward to meeting new clients and helping their business grow. She enjoys spending time with her husband, their cat Cheese, and spending time in her garden.

Kamryn Oskvarek

Kamryn started with Eger CPA in June 2023, after working with a small Fort Collins CPA firm since her graduation from CSU in December 2018. She is looking forward to working with Eger CPA and their clients, and broadening her knowledge in the ever expanding tax and accounting fields. In her free time, Kamryn enjoys spending time with her husband and their puppy, watching movies, cooking, baking, and exploring the Colorado wilderness.

Chelsea Creekmore

Chelsea has spent most of her life living in Colorado and graduated from CSU where she majored in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies. She was working at a credit union, but after a fortuitous meeting with Dawn she decided to use her skills as part of the Eger accounting and bookkeeping team. In her free time she loves camping, traveling, scrapbooking and adventuring with her husband and two dogs.

Natalie Lozoya Clayton

Natalie was born and raised in Nebraska for a good portion of her life and has lived in Texas and currently resides in Colorado. She graduated from Aims Community College in 2019 with an Associates in Business Administration. She is currently attending CSU and majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a minor in Statistical Analysis. Natalie’s first language is Spanish and with this asset, she is able to connect with our Hispanic community. Natalie is apart of Eger CPA’s accounting and bookkeeping team. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, dancing, running 5k’s and going on new adventures with loved ones.

Amelia Callahan

Amelia is an AIPB & FRCC certified bookkeeper with more than 10 years’ experience in office administration. She has lived in Fort Collins for more than 20 years and watched the community grow from a small town community into the thriving city it has become. She has worked in local small businesses ranging from technical trades to wholistic practices, and as such has a unique perspective on the needs of each individual business.

Amelia has two awesome kids and a good boy named Jake the Dog. In her free time, you will find her on the trails with Jake, playing Dungeons & Dragons with her teens, or knitting on the couch.

Deniese Lipscombe

Deniese started with the Eger CPA team in June of 2021 as a payroll processor. From working as a Fly Shop manager to a Business manager in Tractor Sales and Service, Deniese has a wide array of experience. She has two sons, Spencer and Simon, who are out of the house now so she has plenty of time to tackle home improvement projects with her husband, Barry on the weekends. If we need something fixed here at the office, we know where to go! Her two dogs, Indie and Luna also keep her busy as well as tending to her koi pond.

Lana Banuelos Hernandez, FPC

Lana has been a part of the Eger CPA team for over 5 years, and her passion for helping others has helped her make the transition from Director of First Impressions to being a Payroll Processor. When she is not busy processing payrolls and assuring clients are remaining compliant, she is actively pursuing her Accounting degree at Front Range with the hopes of transferring to Colorado State University next fall. In her free time, she enjoys taking her puppy to the park and experiencing the best of Fort Collins’ night life.

Josh Kim, Payroll Processor

Josh joined Eger CPA in the summer of 2022, marking his first foray into the accounting field after graduating from UCI with a degree in Psychology. Apart from his passion for creative writing, where he strives to complete a novel and screenplay that have been in the works for years, Josh is actively pursuing his interest in coding within the computer science domain. He possesses proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Javascript, while harboring a desire to expand his repertoire by delving into Python 3 in the near future.

Lyndsi Palacios, Payroll Processor

Lyndsi joined the Eger CPA/Avid Payroll Team in August 2023. She offers experience in banking and small business management. Lyndsi graduated from North Central University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and looks forward to getting to know her clients and how we, as a team, can better assist them and their business needs. Some of her favorite pastimes are reading & writing, playing the piano, and spending time with her husband and two dogs.

Anna Luce

Anna comes to Eger CPA after working at a few local Fort Collins schools with jobs ranging from Health Tech to Office Assistant to Math Tutor.  She also helped run two family businesses- a food truck and online sales. She eventually travelled the country in that food truck- after turning it into an RV (which she found much more relaxing!)  She still enjoys travelling with her amazing teenage daughters and spoiled Chiweenie, Teensie, to her hometown in Maryland and her favorite music festival in White Sulfur Springs, Montana. If you call Eger CPA or come into the office, Anna will probably be the first person you talk to- and will be happy to help out in any way she can.

Nate Grossnickle

Nate joined the Eger CPA team in 2021 and comes from a background of web design, marketing and sales.  He has spent most of career working in digital marketing and education. He grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and moved to Colorado in his early 20’s.  He previously worked and lived in North Carolina, Mississippi and California.  He now resides in West Fort Collins with his wife Audra and his 3 daughters, Jordyn, Kenna and Payton and their dog Suzie.  He loves outdoor activities, especially running and boxing. In his free time he can be found working on his koi pond in his backyard or transporting his kids to their various sports and activities.

Misty Montez

Misty started as an administrative assistant in February 2022 and is excited to bring her experience and enthusiasm to Eger CPA. She has a varied background in office support, accounting, and project coordination. Driven by a passion to help others, she takes pride in providing excellent customer service to our clients and supporting her coworkers. Outside of work, she enjoys finding new adventures with her husband, children, and dogs. When not busy with her family, you can find her absorbed in an entertaining book.
