Tax Service Pricing

Business Tax Services:
We believe tax preparation works best when it’s paired with proactive planning throughout the year. That’s why we don’t offer business tax preparation as a one-time, standalone service.
Business tax preparation, filing, and proactive tax planning are included as part of your monthly Eger CPA service.

Individual Tax Returns:
For our monthly business clients, we can also prepare your individual tax return so we can look at your complete tax picture—not just the business.

Individual tax preparation is billed separately each year and typically ranges from $750 to $2,000+, depending on the complexity of your return.

PRICING QUESTIONS

Have Questions About Pricing?

We believe you should understand what you’re paying for before you hire a CPA. Here are straightforward answers to the questions we hear most often from business owners.

Our monthly accounting clients typically pay between $500 and $750 per month, depending on the activity and complexity of the business. Larger or more complex businesses may pay more.

Your monthly fee is based on factors such as transaction volume, number of accounts, locations, states, ownership structure, inventory, sales tax requirements, and other accounting needs.

Want a better idea of what your business may pay? Use our pricing calculator above to get an instant estimate.

Two businesses with the same revenue can require very different amounts of accounting work.

That’s why we look at factors such as monthly transaction volume, number of bank and credit card accounts, loans, inventory, sales tax, multiple locations or departments, multiple states, additional owners, and other accounting complexity.

Our pricing calculator uses these same types of factors to estimate your monthly investment.

The calculator provides a good estimate based on the information you enter, but it isn’t a formal proposal.

Before you become a client, we’ll review your business, accounting needs, tax situation, and current books to confirm the scope of work and your actual price.

You’ll know what your recurring services cost before you agree to move forward.

There can be.

Depending on your situation, one-time work may include initial onboarding and strategy, bookkeeping catch-up or cleanup, prior-year tax returns, QuickBooks setup or conversion, or other work needed to get your accounting current.

We’ll identify those items and discuss the cost with you before beginning the work. Our goal is no surprise bills.

Your monthly fee isn’t automatically increased just because your revenue increases.

However, as your business grows, your accounting needs may change. More transactions, accounts, employees, locations, states, inventory, or additional entities can increase the amount and complexity of the work required.

If your scope changes significantly, we’ll discuss any pricing change with you rather than surprising you with it.

No problem. If your bookkeeping is behind or needs to be corrected before we begin monthly accounting, we can get everything caught up and cleaned up for you.

Cleanup and backwork aren’t typically included in your ongoing monthly fee and may require a separate one-time charge. The cost depends on how many months need to be completed, transaction volume, number of accounts, and the overall condition of your books.

We’ll review your books first and let you know the cost before any additional work begins.

Yes! Our Instant Pricing Calculator can give you an estimated monthly price based on a few details about your business.

There’s no need to schedule a meeting first. Get your estimate online, and if the pricing looks like a good fit, you can schedule a conversation with our team to discuss next steps.

“Eger CPA is the best accounting firm I have worked with. Jason and the team are consummate professionals: they are always responsive, helpful and knowledgeable whenever we have questions. They do an outstanding job for a fair price, and I highly recommend them.”
